Job Information

 

Highters Heath Nursery School are looking for a passionate and committed level 3 teaching assistant/assistant SENCO to work alongside the school SENCO. The candidate will need to be a positive and flexible team member, working in an environment where everyone feels welcomed, safe, respected, included and valued. Candidates will hold the level 3 SENCO award or be willing to take this qualification.
The post will include the responsibility for:

  • ensuring a high-quality learning environment and provision which is inclusive of all children
  • meeting with parents and professionals to support the writing of EY SEN Support Plans
  • supporting small groups of children within the nursery setting
  • working alongside teaching and support staff in order to deliver high quality teaching and learning opportunities for all children
  • monitoring pupil progress and participating in planning and evaluating activities

 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
