The information in this section is designed for all maintained schools. It includes some model policies and procedures prepared specifically for schools in Birmingham in consultation with recognised unions. Procedures for church schools will also have been produced with similar consultation. Governing bodies considering the adoption of different policies must take responsibility for consulting the recognised unions on the contents of those policies.
