We are pleased to announce two new training sessions to promote the council’s strategy and action plan for addressing inequalities.
Attend these sessions to increase your awareness and personal commitment to be more inclusive at work and embed disability and inclusion and equity into the classroom and workplace:
- Everyone’s Battle, Everyone’s Business: Power and privilege - introductory session – 7 December 2023
- a highly interactive session which will encourage you to deepen your thinking and understanding of what diversity and inclusion means in 2023 and how your own lived experiences shape how you think and act
- Delivering disability equity in the workplace and classroom – 12 December 2023
- this session will help you to understand the requirements of the Equality Act in regard to disability and promoting disability inclusion and equity within a school/education environment
